Massimo Lunardon Salmon Caviar Dish
Bring a playful sculptural presence to your dining table with the Salmon Caviar Dish by Massimo Lunardon. Its sleek, fish-inspired silhouette stretches across 50 cm, pairing ultra-clear transparent glass with vibrant fire-red details for a distinctive centrepiece.
A wavy, multi-contoured ridge runs along the fish's spine, creating a three-hole layout, also known as tre buchi. The contours are designed to nest small salt and pepper dishes, individual spices, or decorative accessories, combining practical table styling with an imaginative form.
Red glass accents highlight the front gills, mouth tip, and triangular fan tail. Black-and-white layered glass eyes and delicate line whiskers complete the whimsical expression, bringing character to both everyday dining and special occasions.
Crafted from borosilicate glass, the piece combines a lightweight, clear finish with resistance to thermal shock. Its coloured accents are fused into the glass during hot lampworking rather than applied as a surface coating, creating lasting colour. The food-safe composition makes it suitable for dining use as well as decorative display.
